What you see in the spirit, is what you must grab hold of in the natural!
Have you ever had a dream or vision and wondered why you can’t see or don’t believe it can happen in the natural? Have you felt God pushing you to do something you feel you are not qualified to do? Many of us believe that God only calls the qualified or we think if God tells us to do something we must already have the qualifications to do it. We must change our way of thinking and realize that if God says it, He will do the qualifying!
I was put in a situation once where I was left with no income and pending eviction from my home! I didn’t know what I was going to do! I was taken to court and only given a short amount of time to come up with the money. In my mind I knew God to be a provider and way maker. I would even have dreams that God was going to work it out and we would be fine but in the natural I was panicking as I got closer to the due date. In the spirit I could see God working things out but I failed to grab hold of that fact in the natural and it took me into anxiety and depression! Now it was the day before I was to be removed from my home and I fell on my knees and began to plead with God. I was so weary and drained from the situation and when I finally shut my mouth and allowed God to talk to me, He showed me how I had lack of faith and trust in Him! I still tried to plead with Him saying “But it’s the night before and I still have no way to get the money! Again He showed me my lack of faith! Finally I gave in and decided that the only choice I had was to trust God. In that moment, as I fully put my faith in God and decided to grab hold of what I saw God do for me in my dreams and in my spirit and seized it in the natural and held on tight, God told me to call the Landlord and told me exactly what to say to him. Everything worked out!
We must learn to stand on God’s word and be unshakable in our faith and trust in God to allow Him to be our provider and way maker! When you trust someone you are quicker to listen to what they tell us or have us do. Same with God, we have to trust him fully and it will cause us to hear Him and do just what He says!
In Luke 7:50, Jesus says that the woman’s faith saved her! He wants to save us and help us and lead and guide us but we have to have faith and trust in him fully! When we obey God without question and stand on what he says no matter what it looks like, that shows him how much we really trust him! What He shows us in the spirit we must grab hold of it in the natural! Galatians 5:25 says If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. As we live by the Holy Spirit’s power, we need to submit every aspect of our lives to God and not be afraid to grab hold of what he tells us or shows us! We may not know how it’s going to happen but we can trust God enough to know that he will do just what he says! You see, our eyes are trained to see what we believe to be reality! Our beliefs are our lenses of reality and if we don’t believe God fully, then we won’t be able to see what he is trying to show us and therefore we won’t grab hold of what God has for us!
