Don’t Be Fooled By The Wrong Perception!
I was praying yesterday and listening to a message and God brought some things to my attention that I would like to share with you. It is so important to wait on God for things and to make sure that we are consulting him with every aspect of our lives because if we don’t we will be a victim to counterfeits!
We are often told to wait on God but do we really do it? Do we know how? We must have a close relationship with God to know his voice so that we are not not fooled by the enemy. When we don’t wait on the Lord we give the enemy the opportunity to introduce us to counterfeits. Then we deal with the results of counterfeit relationships and counterfeit opportunities and then we have to get healed from something God never intended for us to experience! I know it can be hard sometimes because I also have made the mistake of trying to “help” God with something that I know he said he was going to do but because I thought it should be done in a certain time-frame, I took it upon myself to try to move things along which allowed the enemy to send me what I thought was for me but was actually a counterfeit! I used my own perception of what I thought was supposed to be happening and when, which clouded my judgement in hearing the voice of God! God was not preventing me from receiving what he had for me but he was preparing me! When we have the wrong perception of things we get the wrong results and therefore produce a wrong outcome from what God had in store for us. God will do things in his own timing and we must be patient and sensitive to his voice. Let us not be fooled by counterfeits but empowered by our faith and trust in God that he will do just what he said he will do!
