Strength

Even When I Am Weak, I Am Strong!

As I sat to think about the things that God has place on my heart, the first thing that came to mind is the fact that it can be so hard to feel strong even when we know God is our strength. So how do we lean on and depend on this strength that can be so hard to feel?

One day I was sitting at home trying to take the time to get some things organized with my personal life, business, spiritual, etc… I started to feel overwhelmed with some things that have been needing my attention, but with work and everyday life, I just hadn’t been able to handle. At one point tears started falling down my face and I felt so weak and helpless! In my heart I was telling myself that God is my strength and started to pray, as good believers do. I prayed hard and cried out to God with sincerity. When I was done, I felt really good that I had prayed and kept telling myself that God is my strength, but I could not feel that strength that I was telling myself that I had. I honestly still felt very weak and did not know what to do! Where was this strength that I was supposed to get from God? Why don’t I feel His strength? Has anyone experienced this and asked yourself the question? Where is this strength I am supposed to have?

Your strength lies in your ability to make what’s in front of you bigger than what’s behind you holding you back from allowing God to push you out of your comfort zone! You may not feel ready or qualified, but trust God’s decision to use you. Did you know the strength is in the push! When you feel weak and broken, that is when God is preparing you for your purpose! There is strength in that PUSH! Even when you can’t see it, know that when God pushes you out of your comfort zone, the path ahead leads to greatness and fullness of joy. You just have to have faith and trust in God, not with your words but with your actions. God is shifting you so follow His lead. Despite your mistakes, God can use you for His Glory!

Even when you are weak, You are Strong!
