Too Blessed To Be Stressed
I sit here thinking about how good God is no matter what it seems like because He is always by our side. We, however, often times allow our circumstances or situations to cause us to worry leading to stress and creating anxiety! This anxiety will usually cause sickness and depression. But how can we be so easily moved in our faith to think that God can’t handle our situation???
I think about how many believers I run into, even myself, who are overwhelmed by stress and pressure. We can be so blinded by our circumstances that we can’t see how blessed we are. As I first began searching for Scripture for myself and asking God for strength, I was led to 1 Thessalonians 3:7-8. This Scripture tells us that the Lord is our comfort and strength but we have to hold on to our faith in Him! We have to be unshakable in the Word and in our Faith in God! In Matthew 15:21-28 it shows how powerful we are when we have faith and are not shaken by what people say or do! Never allow your emotions and your circumstances to shake your faith and trust that God is in control of everything and every situation!
When you face trials and tribulations in life, know that it is the testing of your faith that produces perseverance. Let the soil of your life finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything and obtaining everything God has for you! Don’t allow the enemy, people, or even yourself shake you from your position in God!
Be encouraged in knowing the God is right by your side in everything that happens and be thankful for what He has blessed you with already and He will bless you the more for your faithfulness and trust in Him! Be strong and unshakable in your faith!
