Not A Blessed Wallet But A Blessed Life!
When you think of being prosperous what do you think of? Most of us think about having money when we think of being prosperous. In our eyes, we are not prosperous unless our wallet or our bank accounts are overflowing! Right? Our mentality today leads us to believe that if we don’t have money we don’t have anything! Well I’m here to tell you today that in order for you to be prosperous, you don’t need a blessed wallet, you need a blessed life and to have a blessed life, all you need to do is give God your heart! If we give God our heart, He can direct our lives and bring us to our purpose! If God doesn’t have our heart, we fail to obey Him when it’s not convenient for us and therefore don’t allow God to direct our path.
Most of us say that we gave God our hearts but we really haven’t. Think about it… Who or what Really, Truly has your heart? When someone or something really has our heart, we will do Anything for it and would sacrifice for it no matter how much it hurts or how uncomfortable it is. We will give our all to protect that thing or person and never be so easy to give up. We invest in what we love and give our hearts to it, so why are we so quick to give up on God? Why are we quick to be disobedient when we don’t want to do what God tells us? We are we so quick to get quiet or disappear when it’s time to give at church and invest in the God that created us? Why are we so easily tempted instead of protecting our salvation? The reason is that we have not given God our heart! If we would truly give God our heart, He can guide our lives, direct us to our purpose, and therefore provide and give us all the things that we feel that we need to prosper and more! We would experience a blessed life and fullness of joy that we can only experience through the Son of God, Jesus Christ our Saviour!
So how do we give God our heart? We put our treasure there because where your treasure is, that’s where your heart is also! That is why it is important to not only give your tithes and offering, but also give your time, your gifts and talents to God. We don’t give because God needs it but because He wants our hearts so that He can show us what prosperity really looks like! Don’t miss getting all that God has for you just because you were afraid to give Him your whole heart! Don’t lose out because life is filled with overwhelming situations, unexpected challenges, and unpredictable relationships which makes us give up or makes our hearts become numb and selfish because we feel we have to do this to make it in this world. That Is Not The Case! All we need is Jesus and if we give Him our whole heart fully, He will provide and give us prosperity! When you give your heart to God, you stop worrying about everything that you can’t control. You start to trust more and you can brush the little things off your shoulders more easily. You know that your heart is in a safe with God, and you find comfort knowing your God will never leave you nor forsake you. You will not only experience prosperity, but also a peace and happiness that you can’t describe!
