Wrongful Death

Don’t Try To Kill What God Wants To Use!

How do you view yourself and others? Do you see how God can use you or them or do you see flaws first? In Psalms 139:14 it tells us that God made each one of use unmistakably unique for a special purpose.

God gave us this important message by including Samson’s story in the Bible because it shows us that despite our flaws and failures, God can still use us for His Glory!

Samson’s life started off well, but it didn’t end well. The choices he made as a young adult lead us to ask why in the world would God choose Samson to lead His people. From birth he was set apart but just like us he had flaws and would have some failures along the way. That didn’t stop God from using him though. We would be quick to kill the purpose God had for him as soon as we saw his flaws! As soon as we fail at something we think, why would God use me or how could God use that person after what they have done! We fail to realize God can use us, flaws and all, for His Glory! This doesn’t validate our sinful choices at all, but it shows that despite our mistakes that God can use us for His purpose!

God has a purpose for your life that no man can destroy. No one can make a mistake so big that God can’t forgive it, have a problem so large that God can’t solve it, a dream so great that God can’t bring it to pass. God’s plan cannot be stopped by misfortune and all the forces of this world can’t keep you from your destiny. Sometimes we think because we have made mistakes and we’re not where we want to be in life, we must have stopped God’s plan for us but we are not that powerful and if we really want to follow God’s plan for our lives then He will bring us to our destiny. You may have made mistakes, but it wasn’t a surprise to God because He already has the mercy and grace waiting for us but we have to shake off the guilt and move forward and not kill our destiny because we think God can’t use us or kill someone else’s confidence that God can use them! Only we can cancel our purpose in God by not believing and trusting in Him that He can still use us for the purpose He has laid out for us!

We all know that the enemy is out to destroy us, so we have to be careful not to allow him to persuade us into thinking that God won’t use us because of our flaws! God loves us despite our flaws and will sometimes use our flaws for his Glory, so we must be careful not to destroy what God wants to use whether it is ourselves or someone else we are talking about. Those who the devil can’t destroy, he distracts! Don’t allow the devil to distract you from how God wants to use you!
