Allow God To Remove The Comfort Zone
I had a client come in the other day and she seemed a bit down. I began talking to her as I did her lashes as I normally do and she began telling me some things and really opened up to me. I am not much of a talker unless I really have something to say but God began to pour so much into my spirit to tell her and encourage her with. Before I knew it, I was going on and on about all the things God had placed on my heart. At the end of our conversation, she looked at me with such a sincere look on her face and said, God is telling me to bless you. She handed me a $50 bill. I was shocked and began to tell her how much of an encouragement that was to me because it showed me not only how God provides but also that obeying God when he gives you an assignment has great reward. As I was telling her this, she said, because of your obedience give me that back. As I handed the $50 back to her, she gave me a $100 bill! I was in total shock as I threw my arms around her and began to cry! God had not only answered prayer to help pay a bill, but He strengthened my courage to do His will and be used by Him to minister to someone in need of encouragement, uplifting, and empowerment.
Is God igniting a flame in you that you never knew existed? God has was of steering us in the right direction even when we feel that we are inadequate to do what He is telling us to do or it is out of our comfort zone. Had I not ministered to her and encouraged her to realize who created her and to empower her with God’s Word, she might have did something,or gone somewhere that God did not want her to but took for someone to come to her in love and to just have a conversation and build relationship with her to let her know that she is not alone.
Your assignment is not for you alone; it’s meant to be shared with others. But if you don’t have a fire in your soul that burns with passion for God’s kingdom, you will be lacking the power to empower someone else as He calls you to do.
Allow God to ignite a fire in you, not just for yourself but for others that God will use you to encourage, uplift, and empower!
Allow God to Ingnite the Flame!
