Objection Overruled!

Qualified or Unqualified?

What makes a person qualified to do the work of the Lord? What credentials must we have to be used by God? Is it education? Is it fame? Is it being gifted to preach?

We often hide or make excuses when God calls us to do something. Why? Is it because we feel unqualified to do God’s Will? If God chose you, do you think He made a mistake? We know that God does not make mistakes, so why do we question Him? Why do we doubt Him when He chooses us?

When I was young (and even to this day), I have always had a fear of getting up in front of people talking. I would get so nervous that I would make myself sick. When it came time to say a speech for Easter or Christmas or any other occasion, my mother would pick the longest speech EVER for me to recite! My speech was always the longest one! Even longer than the kids much older than me! I would ask her why she made me say such long speeches, and she would say “because I know you can do it.” She not only wanted me to recite the speech but I had to say it with much expression! She would practice and practice with me to make sure that I not only memorized it but that I knew how to say it with much expression! I still couldn’t understand how she thought I could do it in front of everyone when I was so nervous! To my surprise, when I got up there I looked at my mother and remembered everything she said and I executed the speech with excellence! My mother would be so proud.

When God chooses us, He makes no mistake! If He chooses us,He has a reason. We may not understand His reasons or may doubt ourselves but we must never doubt God! Whether we think we are qualified or not, God made us and has a purpose for us. He knows what that purpose is and He knows what we are capable of, especially with His guidance!

We will never understand Him fully because He is supernatural, but He knows everything about us and we must never doubt Him! We can have faith in knowing that if He chooses us, He knows what He is doing. Allow God to get the Glory through what we think is our weaknesses! We must be obedient and stop arguing with God about what we feel we can’t do because our objection is OVERRULED! God wants us to have faith and trust in Him that whatever He calls us to do, He will help us through!

Are you willing to allow God to use your weakness for His Glory? When He calls us, it’s not about Us, it’s about Him! He has a purpose and a plan for us but we have to be obedient and accept the challenges God gives us! He knows what He is doing,so TRUST Him!
