Mind Power

How Do You Think?

Have you ever stopped to think about how powerful our mind is? Just as our tongue and what we say out of our mouth is powerful in directing our lives, so is our mind and what we think! Proverbs 23:7 says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:” Many of us know this scripture just has we know Proverbs 18:21 which says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…”, but do we really understand and believe what it is saying???

You don’t fully know someone unless you know their thoughts. That is why Jesus knows us inside and out because he knows our thoughts! A person’s thoughts are so powerful that we can change the way we feel, the way we act, and what we do just by our thoughts! The reason our thoughts are so powerful and we have to be so careful of what we think of ourselves is because our thoughts become words, our words become actions, our actions become habits, our habits become our character, and our character becomes our destiny! So if we don’t learn to think of ourselves and see ourselves the way that God does, then we won’t reach the destiny that God has for us! If science realizes the power of the mind and can make a device that allows you to control a computer game just by using our thoughts, don’t you think that we need to be aware of what we think and how powerful our thoughts can be?

To be in control of your destiny, you must learn to control the way you think. Your thoughts create your reality so you can attract what you intend to have or experience. Many of us believe that we feel or think a certain way because of our circumstances, but it is the other way around! The power of our thoughts is what is creating those circumstances whether good or bad. When we realize that our thoughts create our reality, we can give ourselves the power to create changes we want to see manifest in our lives. To change our circumstances we must learn to reprogram our mind and thought process. Reach into your imagination and grab hold of the vision God has for you and make it manifest into reality!

Wake up in the morning affirming who you are and what your day will be like and see how much it changes your outcome! Thank God for mercy, grace, wisdom, prosperity, love, etc… thanking him in advance for what is already yours! Dare yourself to get up every morning and affirm that you are who God says you are, that you will be prosperous today, that you are victorious, that you are blessed, that you are anointed, because you are all of that and more!

The righteousness of God goes beyond good deeds or right action and demands right thought. God searches the secret intent of the heart. We must control what we let enter into our minds so that our thoughts are pure, not just to be respectful to someone else but also to respect ourselves and not devalue what God has created! Contrary to what we may believe, we can control our thoughts. We do this by protecting what we allow into our minds and fill our minds with good suggestions and associations. In order to believe we are who God says we are, we have to surround our thoughts with the positive things about us and associate with people that can see the good in us. We must truly believe that God created us and God’s creation is exactly what He designed it to be. God has a purpose for your life and you must realized that purpose and believe that you can achieve that purpose with his guidance. You can only achieve your God given purpose by having faith in God that he will equip you to do everything he has purposed for you to do and that your Process will produce your Purpose! The key is to truly believe in your mind that you have purpose and you will achieve your purpose and receive all that God has for you!
